Justin Bieber Abandons Sick Dog That Needs $8,000 Surgery

Justin Bieber is apparently not the best pet owner, according to new reports.

The Canadian pop star was the owner of an adorable 7-month-old chow chow puppy named Todd. But, when he found out that Todd needed an $8,000 surgery, Bieber "gave the dog away" to back up dancer, CJ Salvador.

Although giving your back up dancer a free puppy sounds like an amazing gesture, Salvador told TMZ it was not all kind gifts. In fact, when he took the dog into the vet for a check-up, he discovered the dog was ill and needed an $8,000 surgery.

The puppy that he now owns has severe hip dysplasia and unless he has the surgery, will be unable to walk at all. Bieber, though making millions, did not pay or contribute for the dog's surgery in anyway. Instead, Salvador set up a GoFundMe page and asked fans and followers to help raise money for the surgery.

Within 22 hours, Salvador raised more than his goal. Apparently, the majority of the donations came from Jayden Smith, who donated a total of $6,000. Justin Bieber, however, has not donated any money to help the dog at all.
