16 People Arrested In Connection With Kim Kardashian Robbery
After three months of investigations, French Police have finally made some arrests in connection with the armed robbery of Kim Kardashian. For months now, officials have stated they were "no where close" to making any arrests or finding any suspects after the 36-year-old reality star was gagged, bound and held at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room on October 3rd.
Now, authorities have reported that they have made 16 different arrests of people who they believe may be involved in the robbery.
Officials scheduled coordinated raids and arrested the 16 people, ranging in age from 50-72-years-old. According to the authorities, all of the arrested have criminal records. Since the investigation began, officials have been looking for anything to tie people into the attack. They discovered that the tape used to gag Kim Kardashian had DNA from someone other than the reality TV star.
As well, DNA has been discovered in the hotel where Kim Kardashian was staying – with forensics matching a "major thug," that's known for robberies in Paris.
Kim has decided to remain silent about the robbery for the last three months, but, on a preview for the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she begins to open up about the traumatic incident.
