Kendall Jenner Opens Up About Struggles With Anxiety

Kendall Jenner is opening up about her struggles with anxiety and how she has learned to cope with the disorder. Over the years, the 21-year-old has been pretty private about her battle with anxiety. Lately, however, she has become more outspoken about her issues, as she has spoken about it on her family's hit reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Kendall took to her app to explain that she's accepted the fact that she has anxiety and she works on ways all the time to combat it. As someone myself who suffers from anxiety, the best thing one can do is be proactive about it.

"Anxiety was a huge hurdle for me to deal with this past year (and security concerns didn't help). But I think I'm finally learning how to cope."

She also mentioned how she felt during panic attacks,

"I once had a really bad attack on a plane and just had to ride it out. I felt my heart beating a million miles an hour and I even went a little numb."

But, while she does suffer from the disorder, she admits she won't let it stop her from her career and working. Instead, she's been proactive about looking for ways to cope.

The 21-year-old admits she realizes panic attacks and anxiety are all in your head, and she tries to remind herself she's in no pain or danger. As well, she uses breathing exercises regularly to ease her discomfort – especially when traveling. She also said that she painted her room a specific shade of pink that therapists and psychologists reveal calms the nerves.
