Justin Bieber Thinks Selena Gomez & The Weeknd Aren’t An Actual Thing
The newest couple to be breaking headlines it seems are Selena Gomez and The Weeknd – and definitely not one we expected. The two singers and musicians were seen canoodling around town recently when paparazzi got snaps of them cuddling, hanging out and locking lips.
Although this seems strange, seeing as The Weeknd just got out of a long-term relationship with model Bella Hadid, it turns out they've been seeing each other since the couple's breakup. According to sources, The Weeknd had been eyeing Gomez for quite some time, always having a crush on her from afar. After he and Hadid broke up, he made his way into Selena's heart.
A source told Hollywood Life that there's more to these two are happier than ever,
“Selena has always been attracted to artists and vocalists because she finds guys like The Weeknd inspiring and relatable. She has a type of guy, and he is it! Selena and Abel share similar life issues and struggles too, so she really enjoys talking with him. Selena feels like that he’s a real gentlemen and she loves how he treats her like a queen when they are together.”
And, the source confirmed Selena is taking this relationship seriously. But, not everyone is super happy for these two. For one, Bella Hadid, The Weeknd's ex, made it clear on social media she was not feeling this new romance.
But, now, Justin Bieber is speaking out – Selena Gomez's ex. The two had dated on and off from 2011 to 2015 and claims he knows that this relationship isn't real at all. In fact, he told TMZ that he thinks it's just a huge part of Selena's plan for her career.
The Weeknd has been making headlines for his music, as he just dropped a brand new album this year. Of course, Bieber thinks that Selena Gomez is trying to ride on his success' coattails and the two are "probably collaborating on music together." He basically thinks she's using him for fame and success, that she always tries to get with big-name musicians in the industry to try and further her own career.
